Paragliding
I took up paragliding originally in 2000 and completed the flying part of my first qualification (the Elementary Pilot certificate) in only a few days. I've gone back to it this year, got my EP
signed off after sitting the theory exam and started my CP (Club Pilot) in April. I quite quickly completed most of the tasks but am currently stuck on the final one which involves landing back on
top of the hill. This I should easily achieve the next time the weather is right (I need plenty of lift).
All my training has been done at
paragliding school in Glynde who are a friendly bunch and very patient and understanding about me returning
time after time just to finish these final tasks.
I bought my own wing, an
Logic at the beginning of October 2002 and am enjoying finding out what it will do.
I meant to put some pictures of me flying on this page, however its quite difficult to take pictures whilst you're actually flying. I do have one, from quite early on (and quite low down).

I've seen a few flying journals on the web so I might try putting photos up that way as a record of my flying progress, sort of an on line logbook
